New RIF coil springs for Toyota Land Cruiser 70!
The legendary TLC 70 is still popular among 4x4 lovers, travelers, tourists and sportsmen, but until now there were no rear springs in the market that could provide suspension lift together with sufficient load capacity.Despite the small size of the vehicle all previously tested springs started to sag quite quickly, especially when being fully loaded during the expeditions.
The new RIF rear coil springs for TLC 70 are truly unique as they have no analogues in the market.
They are designed for the vehicles that often drive with a large load, both short-body and long-body models. But - installed on short vehicles Land Cruiser 70-72, new springs will show the maximum load capacity of +400 kg: they will easily withstand steel front and rear bumper, side steps, loaded expedition roof rack, as well as passengers and heavy cargo inside. On vehicles Land Cruiser 73-78 1990-1999 (with a long base) the load capacity of the springs will be +300 kg, which is also quite enough for the suspension lift 50 mm, and for fitting of heavy additional off-road equipment.
The new springs are 20 mm longer than the C type springs with the article 070-775C, and 1 mm thicker. In fact, the Ctype springs (070-775C) are also dual-purpose springs - on short TLC 70-72 they provide category C, on long-body vehices - category B.
The new springs of category D are now fitted on our short-body expedition TLC 72 - and even under extreme load they behave perfectly - provide 2" lift, good load capacity and stable comfortable performance!
Reinforced RIF coil springs are made of high-quality steel by cold forming. The springs help to prepare your 4x4 vehicle for harsh road conditions. The springs can be used for lifting the 4x4 vehicle and for increasing its load capacity to compensate for the weight of the optional equipment, including bull bars, roof top carriers and winch.
RIF springs improve the vehicle's handling and off-road performance. On bad roads the vehicle becomes more stable due to better road stability and protection from suspension damage.
