How RIF 4x4 equipment is manufactured
Finally we visited our RIF plant with the camera to show you how things are going on here. This is the place, where RIF 4x4 equiment i being produced.
As the production volumes are substantial, the material is purchased in large batches in order to reduce the cost price.
This is a program-controlled bending machine
The program is adjusted and the bending process proceeds automatically
The result looks like this:
As a result of work of machine for sheet metal bending we get ready elements (parts of future bumpers or side bars) from flat pieces, which later come to the welding table
Band machine for cutting pipes. Also with program controlling
The most popular models of bumpers are welded on robotic equipment
Before being coated, the products require preparatory work
Some of them are done manually

So the robot-weld seams look like
Before being coated, all products are subjected to a shot blasting process. This is not a trivial sandblast, it is a chamber in which gas streams disperse metal shot and thus goes a complete abrasive cleaning of the metal from all kinds of dirt, traces of welding and surface oxides or rust. The whole processing needs two stages, between which the product must be turned over.
After shotblasting, the products go to powder coating
The powder is electrically charged, and the product is given the opposite charge. Thus, it is applied to the parts by electrostatic spraying and is then "fixed" under high temperature in the drying chamber.
All RIF equipment has double powder coating. This allows to increase the resistance of the coating to chips and as a result better protect the metal from the aggressive external environment.
But… in the very beginning of the manufacturing process - full 3d scan of the vehicle precedes. Following pics will let you know which car is going to get a new gift from RIF soon :)
And, as usual - fine movie in the end!
